Cancellation/ Rescheduling
within 24 hours of session, or "no show"
Relaxology Cancellation Policy
At Relaxology, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. When a session is scheduled, that time is removed from availability and held specifically for your care.
24-Hour Notice Requirement
Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the appointment time will automatically result in a $50 fee.
This charge is processed by our booking system and cannot be avoided, overridden, refunded, or adjusted for any reason. There are no exceptions.
Why This Policy Exists
We understand that life happens. People get sick. Children need care. Emergencies arise.
However:
-
Our therapists rely on scheduled sessions for their income.
-
When an appointment is cancelled late, that time cannot typically be refilled.
-
The $50 fee goes directly toward compensating the therapist for the commission they were unable to earn because that time was held.
-
As a small business with families and financial obligations of our own, we cannot absorb these losses without impacting our team and our ability to operate responsibly.
We hold ourselves to this same standard.
If Relaxology cancels or reschedules your appointment within 24 hours, we offer you the same $50 courtesy credit.
Fairness goes both ways.
Policy Enforcement
This policy is firm.
We do not participate in discussions, negotiations, or exceptions regarding the cancellation fee. Consistency ensures fairness to every client and every staff member.
If you do not agree with this policy, we completely understand — but please cancel your appointment immediately so you are not subject to the 24-hour window.
We appreciate your understanding and your respect for our time, our team, and the sustainability of our small business.
